Resources for whole family wellness.
Acute Illness Guide
Your calm, confident response plan when sickness hits.
This is the guide we wished every parent received the day they brought their first baby home… or the day their child caught their first virus… or the day they found themselves Googling symptoms at 2 AM.
The Acute Illness Guide is a practical, gospel-rooted response plan for managing acute symptoms like fevers, congestion, coughs, vomiting, diarrhea, and more. It’s not just a list of what to buy—it’s a mindset reset. One that reminds you that you can handle sickness with clarity and peace, instead of panic and fear.
Inside, you’ll find:
Step-by-step response strategies for common symptoms
Nourishing food ideas to support recovery
Supplement guidance for kids and adults
A full list of supportive homeopathy and tools
How to assess symptoms and decide when to seek care
Notes on energetic support and gospel encouragement
This guide doesn’t replace your intuition, it strengthens it. It doesn’t offer a “cure”—it equips you to care well. It’s a resource born out of real-life experience, prayer, and a desire to help families walk in confidence, not fear.
Protocols-Only
If you're not looking for the full 80+ page guide with all the education and deeper health foundations, but you do want to know:
What supplements to use
What dose is appropriate (for you, your child, or your spouse)
What to do when symptoms start
How to support recovery
…this is for you.
The Acute Illness Protocols are the straight-to-the-point pages pulled from the full guide. No extras. No fluff. Just the exact tools and steps I share with my own clients when they ask what to do for fevers, viruses, congestion, coughs, and more.
Favorite Things
The most-used tools in Emily’s personal and family rhythm.
Sometimes the best place to start is with someone you trust. That’s why we compiled this ever-growing list of Emily’s tried-and-true favorites—items and products she turns to again and again in her own home.
Each product is personally vetted by Emily and her family, with notes on what it’s for and why it’s loved.

Organo Coffee: I truly believe a cup of King Coffee has the power to offer so much hope to people. Why not give it a try!? Why not swap out your daily coffee for a coffee option that has the power to heal? King Coffee is not only organic coffee that has been checked for mold, but also has a therapeutic dosage of Reishi Spores in each packet. My other favorite coffee is Royal. This coffee is a blend of Coffee, Ganoderma Lucidum, Cordyceps, and Lion’s Mane.
Core Formulas - I love all these products. Two of my favorite products are: Daily Essentials & Stress Control.
Pique - When I am not drinking water or King Coffee, you will find me drinking Pique tea. There are many amazing benefits and flavors. Some with caffeine and many without.
Equip Protein - This is currently the only protein powder we have in our house. We do not use protein powders often, but when we do, we will use this brand.
LMNT - Great when you need added electrolytes or just something to drink other than water.
Earthely - I love so many of these products. But my two favorites that we always have on hand are the Good Night Lotion & Black Drawing Salve
Manuka Honey - This is the best honey I have tried. It is worth the price. I have used this internally as well as topically. Use code: GRACIOUSHEALING for a special offer.
Cymbiotika - These supplements are great for kids who are picky. I also love these products when I travel. I can often find these in grocery stores when I travel. My kids love vitamin C packets and Magnesium -L-Threonate
-
Vibrant Blue Oils - Favorite Essential Oil Blends - The “Sleep” blend is always on hand in our house.
Therassage - Shop Therasage for one of my favorite at-home therapies: Red Light and Sauna.
Red Light can help with detoxification, hair loss, brain disorders, pain & inflammation, collagen/skin repair, boost overall mitochondria function, support those with autoimmune disease, support athletic performance, help combat depression, increase nitric oxide & increase overall vagal tone & help with seasonal depression disorder.
Use code: EmilyJ10 for 10% off
LumeBox - This red light is my favorite, not just for its strength but also for its small size as well as portability. We have taken it camping, on car rides, and outside on the back porch when. I love not having to be hooked up to an outlet, and I do find that it works better for more intense issues. If it’s a minor ailment or for the kids, I will use the Therasage Trilight, but for most of my redlight needs I will grab the LumeBox.
Defender Shield - For EMF’s my approach is always avoidance first and foremost. Second, I utilize tools that have been created by Defender Shield I have been using for years. We use mats and phone blockers to help meditate on EMFs when avoidance or distance from technology is not possible.
-
Clearstem - Our whole family loves Clearstem. It’s easy to have for the whole family. Code: EMILYJ
Faithful Family Farmer - I love all of their ozone products
Toups and CO. Organic - This is the makeup my daughter and I use often.
OAT (Organic Acids Test)
The Organic Acids Test (OAT) offers a comprehensive metabolic snapshot of a patient’s overall health with 76 markers. It provides an accurate evaluation of intestinal yeast and bacteria. Abnormally high levels of these microorganisms can cause or worsen behavior disorders, hyperactivity, movement disorders, fatigue and immune function. Many people with chronic illnesses and neurological disorders often excrete several abnormal organic acids in their urine. The cause of these high levels could include oral antibiotic use, high sugar diets, immune deficiencies, acquired infections, as well as genetic factors.
Our Organic Acids Test also includes markers for vitamin and mineral levels, oxidative stress, neurotransmitter levels, and is the only OAT to include markers for oxalates, which are highly correlated with many chronic illnesses.
You will receive a urine collection kit in the mail. It is up to you to follow the instructions closely and send in your sample to Great Plains Laboratory. Once your sample has been received, your test results should be available within one to two weeks.
Specimen Requirements: 10 mL of first morning urine before food or drink is suggested. Patients should avoid apples, grapes (including raisins), pears, cranberries and their juices 48 hours prior to specimen collection. Avoid arabinogalactan, echinacea, reishi mushrooms, and ribose supplements for 48 hours before collection.
